While I wouldn’t necessarily call myself an entrepreneur, I recently answered my ‘why’ question for CEO Blog Nation.
In the article, ‘25 Entrepreneurs Explain Why They Started Their Business‘, I talk about ‘one’ of my whys – mobility.
“I am just starting my freelance copywriting, editing and publishing business, Little pink typewriter. I started because I wanted mobility. Have laptop; can travel. It’s a business I can take anywhere. Plus, I’d been doing ‘freebies for friends’ for years, so figured I had a skill set that could translate well into a sole operator lifestyle. It’s early days, but I’m optimistic that my diverse experience in corporate, non-profit and public sectors, in different countries, will serve me well!”
