Client: global engineering and design consultancy

The brief

As part of its company-wide leadership changes, my global engineering client wanted to update its leaders’ bios for its website, company CVs and LinkedIn profiles.

They engaged Little pink typewriter to conduct interviews with each leader, then write the bios for the website, company CV and LinkedIn profile.

Outcome

The interviews included leaders throughout Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia, so working across various timezones / schedules, I conducted interviews with a range of leaders, including engineers, sustainability experts, business strategists, change managers and innovation specialists, across a range of disciplines and industries.

It was a great opportunity to get to know each leader to better understand their personal attributes and points of difference, and to showcase their expertise without using a cookie-cutter approach to bio / CV writing.

Over several months, I conducted interviews and wrote profiles for each medium to ensure consistency in style, and that the new leadership positions are understood from a personal and company perspective.
